NEW YORK (CNN) - New York City’s largest pharmacy chain, Wachovia, is facing the same kind of price wars as its biggest competitor, Kroger, and is planning to introduce a competitor, Aleve, to its store.

A new wave of pharmacy pharmacies has already sprung up in New York, and the national chains’ pharmacies and other retail outlets have also been facing similar price pressures.

“Pharmacy chains are getting into the game right now and are having to take on new and interesting business opportunities. It’s not an over-the-counter pharmacy,” said Adam Friedman, CEO of Walgreens, in an email. “The New York chain, like most big chains, has been struggling to find a pharmacy that can compete and deliver on their brand. We believe this is a big change in how pharmacies are viewed.”

Walmart’s pharmacy business was worth more than $2 billion in 2010, with the retailer’s stock trading at almost double that of the independent retail giant, according to Bloomberg.

The New York chain is also seeing its share price drops after the expiration of its rights to the popular arthritis drug, Celebrex.

In October, the New York Times’ Henry A. himns was at the top of the New York Times. He has also been at the top of the New York Times’ ranking of the “Most Reliable Employer” by Newsday.

In a statement, Walgreens said the company has “continued to engage with the New York and New Jersey, New York, and New York City local and state pharmacy chains to address and enhance the quality and affordability of our pharmacy services.”

The New York chain is also cutting back on its own stores, which have already seen price pressures rise, according to the New York Times.

“As a family owned business that sells and sells our products, we believe this is an appropriate time for our pharmacy business to come to an end,” said Friedman, adding that the chain’s store will not be closing down. “We will continue to make efforts to help consumers in the marketplace by improving the quality of our products. We’re committed to helping consumers in New York by providing them with more affordable, reliable and accessible health care.”

The New York chain and Aleve will be opening stores in Manhattan, New York, and San Francisco.

“We are committed to bringing our pharmacy business to more people and making it easier for people to access the essential care that we offer,” said Friedman.

Aleve is part of Wachovia, which is among the most successful and well-known chain in the United States. It has more than 800 retail stores across the United States.

Aleve’s retail is part of Wachovia, which owns two additional stores in Manhattan and New York. The store is also one of the largest retail pharmacies in New York City.

The New York pharmacy business is also growing, as the number of independent pharmacies in New York City filling the gap between the large chain’s and independent pharmacies’ prices.

The chain’s store is expected to open in the coming months.

It belongs to the family known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID), and specifically a sub-group known as cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitors. It is used in adults for the relief of signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. Before starting the treatment, inform your doctor because it is recommended to not take this medicine if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding. Do not take this medicine if you have severe liver or kidney disease, have inflammatory intestinal conditions, or have heart-related issues such as heart failure, heart disease, or circulation problems. Additionally, if you have had surgeries on leg arteries or have a history of blood circulation problems, this medicine usage should be avoided. Celebrex 100mg Tablet contains lactose. If you are sugar intolerant, consult your doctor before using this product. This medicine is for adults only, it is not for use in children.

Inform your doctor about if you have a history of stomach or intestinal ulcers or bleeding (avoid if currently present), are on acetylsalicylic acid or antiplatelet therapies, use blood clotting or corticosteroid medications, or simultaneously use other non-acetylsalicylic NSAIDs like ibuprofen.

Report your doctor if you have conditions such as smoking, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, compromised heart, liver, or kidney function, fluid retention, dehydration, past severe allergic reactions to medications, ongoing infections, or are over 65 years old.
